Corporate Social Responsibility

We measure success by the lives we impact

Since Global’s inception, we have committed ourselves to donating 10% of net profits to worthy causes and prioritize quality of life for employees. Our company made the decision to hire Alexis Mordawski, as the Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator. She will be responsible for implementing and managing corporate giving and employee facing benefits.

Responsible Business Practices

The purpose of the Corporate Social Responsibility department is to ensure that our company embodies its values by taking care of the community and our staff. At Global, we believe that when a company loses sight of its mission, the integrity of its work becomes compromised.

Quality of Life for Employees

Both short and long-term benefits matter. We offer a flexible work schedule, health insurance, lengthy vacation time, and partial matching in our corporate 401(k) plan. Our newest initiatives include a monetary incentive program for employees to partake in various health activities to promote well-being and a monthly mental health workshop.

Community Social Impact Fund

Our desire to make employees feel heard is an essential part of corporate giving. Each month Global focuses on a holiday around a social or environmental issue voted on by employees. Our structure of giving with this program comes in monthly gifts awarded at $1,000 to an employee chosen non-profit supporting each cause.

Staff Professional Development

We believe in the empowerment of our employees. Global sponsors staff to receive professional certificates from Cornell University in the areas of leadership, marketing, and technology. Additionally, each employee has access to a $500 professional development stipend to use towards any online courses they wish to take.

Global Scholarship Program

In response to the growing student loan debt crisis in the United States, we believe it is necessary to combat this barrier in the form of a scholarship. Each year, Global awards 2 students with $2,500 towards tuition.

Volunteer Outreach

While it is important to financially support organizations, it is equally, if not more important, to understand injustice first-hand. Our employees commit to volunteering at least four times a year for causes that address food insecurity.

Corporate Donations

At the end of our fiscal year, all remaining CSR funds are provided to worthy causes. The organizations are selected by our President and CEO, Felix Villa Sr.
